SelectCare

SelectCare is a fixed price overhaul arrangement.

Under SelectCare an overhaul shop visit draws on the same workscope that a TotalCare shop visit would have, uses the same Rolls-Royce approved components and materials, and is performed by the same highly skilled engineering teams. The price of these shop visits is known for the duration of the SelectCare agreement with larger volumes attracting lower prices. Each shop visit is paid for when it occurs.

Check and repair shop visits are not covered under SelectCare but can be conducted by Rolls-Royce on a time and material basis. Alternatively, operators may choose to have check and repair shop visits conducted at any facility that is certified for the relevant engine type. As engines approach retirement, operators might not want them to have a full life overhaul.

Rolls-Royce is able to work with operators to compose a tailored workscope to deliver the required service life and performance. If necessary, these tailored workscopes can draw upon parts that are already owned; either serviceable used material (SUM) or new parts that may have been held in inventory.
