UT 759 ICE AHTS

Specially designed to provide support in remote areas

UT 759 ICE is an innovative icebreaking anchor handler / tug, constructed for demanding operations in Arctic environments without additional assistance (Polar 15). The vessel is capable of breaking ice up to 1.5 metres at a speed of 4 knots, and is constructed for ice milling and anchor handling in ice with a bollard pull of 250 tonnes. Fitted with large bulk and cargo capacities it can support oil rigs and shuttle tankers in remote areas. The power distribution is based on the popular hybrid system, assuring a cost-efficient operational mode during all kinds of operations. It also provides excellent DP 2 capabilities during ice operations. The vessel is designed for ROV operations through moonpool and can accommodate 55 persons.
