UT 777 CD well intervention

Optimised for Norwegian Continental Shelf and harsh environments

The UT 777 is a mobile offshore drilling unit designed to undertake a variety of subsea tasks, including top-hole drilling, subsea construction and inspection, and maintenance and repair work in deep waters. It can also be adapted to undertake light well intervention.

The design has been developed with particular focus on the special requirements valid for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and also for further work in more northern harsh and cold environments. This tailor-made vessel will incorporate an enclosed module handling tower to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment for the crew while operating in harsh and cold conditions. The Ice-class vessel will have DP3 dynamic positioning and comfortable accommodation for 91 people. The propulsion system is based on a diesel electric generating system with azimuthing propulsion system.
